1. Mohammadreza Shadloui, Haryana Steelers

Mohammadreza Shadloui

Mohammadreza Shadloui became the most expensive foreign player in this year’s PKL Auction. The Haryana Steelers, last season’s runners-up, bought this left-corner all-rounder for ₹2.08 crore.

Shadloui played a key part in Puneri Paltan’s first-ever PKL title last season, scoring 126 points in 24 matches. He won the Best Defender award and also delivered two super raids. Haryana fans were thrilled when the team signed the Iranian star at the auction.

2. Pawan Sehrawat, Telugu Titans

Pawan Sehrawat

Indian star all-rounder Pawan Sehrawat will once again captain the Telugu Titans in the Pro Kabaddi League. The Titans re-signed him during the auction earlier this year.

Sehrawat is the only player in PKL history to achieve both a Super 10 and a High 5 in a single match, a feat he has accomplished twice. This alone highlights his exceptional skills.

3. Mohammad Nabibakhsh, Gujarat Giants

Mohammad Nabibakhsh

After a disappointing PKL 10 season, Mohammad Nabibakhsh got another opportunity with the Gujarat Giants during the 2024 auction. Last season, he scored just 28 points in 21 matches.

It seemed like the team didn’t assign him a clear role last year, but coach Ram Mehar Singh might have a better strategy for the PKL 2019-winning all-rounder this season, which is why they brought him back.

4. Aslam Inamdar, Puneri Paltan

Aslam Inamdar

Puneri Paltan’s captain, Aslam Inamdar, led from the front last season, racking up 142 raid points and 26 tackle points. Known for his speedy raids, Inamdar also excels in defense with his ankle holds.

Inamdar has been one of Pune’s standout players in recent seasons, and it will be exciting to see if he can maintain his form in Pro Kabaddi 2024.

5. Himanshu, Tamil Thalaivas

Himanshu

Himanshu is a rising talent from the Tamil Thalaivas team. He was regularly featured last season, collecting 37 points from 16 matches. Impressively, 21 of those points came from defense, including a High 5.

The Thalaivas offered him another contract for season 11, and Himanshu will be looking to improve his game and aim for at least 50 points this year.
