RCB Star Says Don’t Care Before Game Against MS Dhoni’s CSK

Team RCB in action

Cricket fans everywhere are excited for the big IPL 2024 match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Saturday at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. This game is crucial because it will decide the fourth team for the Playoffs. The match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Gujarat Titans was canceled due to rain, which allowed SRH to qualify. Now, with one spot left, both RCB and CSK are ready to give their best effort.

RCB had a terrible start, losing seven out of eight games and almost getting eliminated. However, they turned things around by winning five consecutive games, making them strong contenders for the Playoffs.

Even though SRH’s qualification made it harder for RCB, left-arm spinner Swapnil Singh remains hopeful. He said, “After the first half of the season, we had only a one percent chance of qualifying. We’ve played exceptionally well since then and have a chance now. We just need to play good cricket and trust our fans’ support.”

Talking about the upcoming game against CSK, Swapnil expressed his excitement about playing against MS Dhoni, calling him a legend. He feels confident about the team’s preparation and momentum.

Swapnil also talked about the ‘impact player’ rule, which allows teams to have more strong batters, making it harder for bowlers. He explained that this rule means bowlers are prepared to give away more runs but focus on executing their plans well.

Swapnil praised Virat Kohli, sharing advice he received from him. Kohli told him to trust his instincts and not overthink situations, encouraging him to express himself on the field. Swapnil values this advice as he prepares for the important match.
