Shubman Gill, Pat Cummins Play Rock-Paper-Scissors – Guess Who Wins?

Kabya Maran Amazing Reaction when Shubman Gill & Pat Cummins Played Rock Paper Scissors in SRH vs GT

The IPL 2024 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Gujarat Titans (GT) was canceled because of heavy rain in Hyderabad on Thursday. This helped SRH secure third place and qualify for the playoffs. It was the second time that week a GT match was canceled due to rain, as their earlier game against Kolkata Knight Riders in Ahmedabad was also called off. GT, who were champions in 2022 and runners-up in 2023, didn’t make it to the playoffs this year.

Despite the cancellation, GT captain Shubman Gill and SRH captain Pat Cummins shared a funny moment. A video on social media shows the match officials telling Gill and Cummins about the cancellation, after which the two captains jokingly played rock-paper-scissors to decide the match winner.

Gill won the rock-paper-scissors game and then shared a laugh with Cummins and the others.

With SRH qualifying, only one spot is left for the IPL 2024 Playoffs, which will go to either Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) or Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

RCB and CSK will play their final league match on Saturday at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

There is a threat of rain for this match, similar to the SRH vs GT game. RCB needs a strong win margin, and if rain shortens the match, it will make things more complicated.

If a full 20-over game happens, RCB needs to win by 18 runs or more, assuming they score 200 runs while batting first. In a 5-over game, RCB would need to hold CSK to a maximum of 62 runs if they score 80 runs while batting first.
