Rayudu Says CSK Should Give RCB an IPL Trophy Gets Harsh Reply

Ambati Rayudu and Varun Aaron discussing RCB's win over CSK

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) secured a huge win over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to become the fourth team to qualify for the IPL 2024 playoffs. RCB needed to win this match to ensure their place in the Top 4, and they succeeded with a 27-run victory. The stadium erupted in celebration, and the players joined in so enthusiastically that MS Dhoni left without shaking hands after waiting for a while.

Former India cricketer Ambati Rayudu mocked RCB’s celebrations, joking that CSK should give them one of their trophies. “RCB acted like they’ve already won the IPL with their celebrations. Bengaluru is filled with RCB fans,” Rayudu said on Star Sports.

Rayudu’s former teammate Varun Aaron added humorously, “CSK just can’t accept their loss.”

Rayudu continued, “CSK should hand over one of their trophies to RCB so they can parade it around Bengaluru.”

Aaron responded, “He’s just upset that RCB knocked out CSK.”

RCB captain Faf Du Plessis gave his Man of the Match award to Yash Dayal. He praised Dayal’s bowling and said he deserved it. Before the last over, Faf advised Dayal to use slower deliveries and trust his skills. Despite the yorker not working on the first ball, Dayal listened and bowled well with slower deliveries.
