That’s impressive!

He took a break because of injuries and being busy but came back strong in a match against Pakistan, where he scored fifty runs. Now, he’s getting ready for the T20 World Cup.

Let’s look back at his top five T20I performances from his career so far.

1. 85 (48) against Australia in the 2021 T20 World Cup Final in Dubai

But Kane Williamson played really well. He scored 51 runs in just 35 balls, hitting the ball hard against Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel. This gave the Kiwis a good start, and they seemed to have a chance of winning. However, in his second spell, Dale Steyn took four wickets, which turned the game around. Despite Kane’s efforts, the Kiwis lost the game by just 2 runs.

3. 72 (46) against England, Trans-Tasman T20I Tri Series 2018, Wellington

In 2018, New Zealand held a cricket series with Australia and England. Australia did really well and won most of the games. But New Zealand only won one game. Even though they didn’t win many games, they got into the final because England’s score wasn’t as good.

The game New Zealand won was against England. Williamson played amazingly, scoring 72 runs. He hit four boundaries and four maximums, helping his team score a big total of 196 runs while batting first.
