Comparing Gambhir and Dravid’s Coaching Styles

When asked about the biggest change since Gambhir took over, Pant said, “Rahul Dravid was a very balanced coach. It had its good and bad sides, depending on how you looked at it.” He also mentioned that Gambhir’s approach is more aggressive and focused on winning, but it’s important to strike a good balance in the team.

Focus on Winning Without Underestimating Bangladesh

Pant highlighted the importance of not taking Bangladesh lightly, especially after their 2-0 Test series victory over Pakistan. He reminded everyone that Asian teams like Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka are strong in their home conditions, and India must maintain their high standards and play with the same intensity.

Upcoming Test Matches

The first Test match between India and Bangladesh will take place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The second match will be held at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur, starting on September 27.
