He emphasized the importance of focusing on playing good cricket rather than dwelling on mathematical probabilities. This win against Sunrisers Hyderabad marked MI’s first victory in five matches, propelling them from the bottom of the points table to the ninth position.
Right now, the Mumbai Indians (MI) cricket team is at the bottom of the table in the tournament. There are three other teams at the bottom too: the Gujarat Titans, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and the Punjab Kings. All these teams have 8 points each. But, MI has played one game less than the others. That means they have a chance to catch up.
Some teams are a little ahead of MI. The Delhi Capitals have 10 points. Then, there are three teams with 12 points each: the Chennai Super Kings, the Sunrisers Hyderabad, and the Lucknow Super Giants. MI is close to these teams. They can still make it to the top if they play well in their upcoming matches.
