Impact on Statistics and Recognition

MLC announced that all match achievements, like centuries and wins, will now count as official career statistics, helping local players gain international recognition and boosting the development of domestic talent.

Expansion and Future Plans

MLC’s CEO, Vijay Srinivasan, mentioned the tournament’s growth from 19 games in 2023 to 34 by 2025, emphasizing the momentum gained from the inaugural season and the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup.
