SRH Defeats RR to Enter IPL Final

SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) triumphed over Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 36 runs in the Qualifier 2 game of IPL 2024, held at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, on Friday. With this victory, SRH secured a spot in the IPL final after six years and will face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the same venue on May 26. SRH posted a challenging total of 175 for 9 in 20 overs, despite Rajasthan’s bowlers Trent Boult (3/45), Avesh Khan (3/27), and Sandeep Sharma (2/25) making notable efforts. Heinrich Klaasen top-scored for SRH with a 34-ball 50, while Travis Head and Rahul Tripathi made significant contributions. RR, in response, could only muster 139 for 7 in their 20 overs, with Shahbaz Ahmed taking 3 for 23.
