KL Rahul Out Of T20 World Cup; Sanju Samson Faces New Competition for India Team: Report”

A report before the India team announcement says KL Rahul might not be in the T20 World Cup team. There’s been a lot of talk among experienced cricketers and experts about who will be the second wicketkeeper. Rishabh Pant is the first choice because he’s been doing well in the IPL. But for the backup spot, it’s between Sanju Samson and KL Rahul. However, a new report says KL Rahul might not get the backup spot. The selectors are thinking about two other players for that position.

When the IPL started last month, there were six wicketkeepers competing for two spots in the 15-player India squad. Jitesh Sharma was in the lead for one spot because he did well in the T20I series after the ODI World Cup in November.

However, everyone was eagerly waiting for Pant to come back. He had been recovering from a bad car accident for 15 months. Other players in the competition were Jurel, who did well in the Test series against England, and Ishan Kishan, who played when Pant was not available. But now, the team management showed they preferred Jitesh.
