Riyan Parag Happy People Mention Him for Good Reasons in IPL 2024″

Riyan Parag of Rajasthan Royals shared his thoughts after their close loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL match. He described the game as dramatic and mentioned that losing is never fun. Despite the loss, he felt they did many things right.

Riyan acknowledged that they made some mistakes in a few overs, which ultimately cost them the game. He praised his teammate Yashasvi Jaiswal for almost pulling off a win alongside him. He explained Jaiswal’s dismissal, mentioning that they had planned their moves carefully but it didn’t work out as intended.

Reflecting on his own dismissal, Riyan admitted to an execution error but denied that they threw away their wickets. He credited the opponent’s bowling performance, especially in the slog overs.

Riyan observed that the pitch conditions were fair for both teams but acknowledged that Sunrisers bowled better in the later overs. He believed his team could have restricted Sunrisers to fewer runs in the final overs.

He praised Nitish Rana’s batting performance for Sunrisers, acknowledging his skillful play. Riyan also recognized areas where he personally needed to improve in his batting.

I know I can’t be perfect, but I can improve in areas I know. I’m not aiming for perfection. Every time I make mistakes in my games, I try to learn from them,” he said.

“I’m happy people are talking about me for the right reasons now. I wasn’t thinking about the World Cup selection. I’m just really happy for my teammates,” Riyan said.
