He believes they’ll do well in the USA and the West Indies.
The tournament is split into four groups with five teams each. The top two teams from each group will move on to the next stage called the Super Eight, then there will be semi-finals and a final match.

Australia is in Group B with England, Namibia, Scotland, and Oman. India is in Group A with the USA, Pakistan, Ireland, and Canada. India’s matches in the group stage will be in the USA, starting with a match against Ireland on June 5. After the group stage, the tournament will move to the Caribbean.
Ganguly thinks the Indian team is great, with all 15 players capable of winning matches. He trusts Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid to choose the best players.
Rinku Singh didn’t make it to the Indian team of 15 players. The chief selector, Ajit Agarkar, said it was a tough decision.
Ganguly thinks selectors didn’t pick Rinku because they wanted another spinner for slow wickets in the West Indies, despite Rinku’s high strike rate in T20 matches and skill in finishing games. However, Ganguly believes Rinku will get more opportunities in the future.
