In Test cricket, there have been some incredibly fast centuries. The top 10 fastest include Brendon McCullum, who scored a century in just 54 balls in his final Test match in 2016, and Viv Richards, who made 110 runs off 56 balls against England in 1986. Misbah-ul-Haq reached his century in 56 balls in 2014, while Adam Gilchrist did it in 57 balls in 2006. Jack Gregory set a historic record with a century in 67 balls in 1921, and Shivnarine Chanderpaul scored his in 69 balls in 2003. David Warner also made a century in 69 balls in 2012, and Chris Gayle reached his in 70 balls in 2009. Roy Fredericks scored his in 71 balls in 1975, and Colin de Grandhomme did the same in 71 balls in 2017. These quick centuries have added excitement to Test cricket.
