Virat Kohli played really well for RCB again in 2023, after not doing so for four years. He scored 639 runs and got two centuries in 14 matches. One of his hundreds was against Gujarat Titans (GT) at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. He played really well against GT’s good bowlers and got his seventh IPL century.

With his score of 101 not out in just 61 balls, Bangalore made 197 runs. Finally, Bangalore won the match by six wickets, with Shubman Gill also playing very well and scoring 104 not out in 52 balls. Kohli’s great batting was praised because he played so well in an important match and made a fantastic score.

4. Rajat Patidar’s unbeaten 112 against Lucknow Super Giants in 2022

RCB finished their run in the 2022 IPL in the playoff round. They lost to Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Qualifier 2. But before they were knocked out, Bangalore won against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the famous Eden Gardens.

In the game against Lucknow, Rajat Patidar played really well. He scored 112 runs without getting out, and he did it in just 54 balls. He hit 12 fours and seven sixes during his innings. Patidar’s impressive batting helped Bangalore beat Lucknow. Lucknow managed to score only 193 runs in response to RCB’s big total of 207, led by KL Rahul.

3. Chris Gayle’s 89 against Mumbai Indians (MI) in 2011

Chris Gayle, a famous cricket player from the West Indies, joined the RCB team for the first time in 2022. In just 12 matches, he scored 608 runs with two big scores of over 100 runs and three scores of over 50 runs. He won the Orange Cap for being the highest run-scorer in the tournament. In a game against Mumbai Indians, Gayle played exceptionally well, hitting the ball all over the ground. RCB batted first and scored 185 runs. Gayle scored 89 runs from just 47 balls, hitting 14 boundaries (nine fours and five sixes). His great performance helped RCB win the match as Mumbai Indians could only manage 142 runs in reply. Gayle was named the Player of the Match for his outstanding batting.

2. AB de Villiers’ unbeaten 79 against Gujarat Lions (GL) in 2016

In 2016, RCB did really well in the IPL with Virat Kohli leading them, but they came in second place. In a game against Gujarat Lions in Bengaluru, AB de Villiers played amazingly. RCB was struggling at 29 runs for 5 wickets when he came to bat. He stayed calm and scored 79 runs not out from 47 balls, helping RCB win.

Even though big names like Kohli, Gayle, and Shane Watson got out early, de Villiers stayed strong. He played well against Dhawal Kulkarni and Ravindra Jadeja. He also had a good partnership with Stuart Binny, scoring 39 runs together. Binny got out, but de Villiers kept going. He then partnered with Iqbal Abdulla and together they scored 91 runs in 52 balls. De Villiers was given the Player of the Match award for his great performance.

Chris Gayle made history in the 2013 IPL. He played for RCB and did something amazing with his bat. In a match against Pune Warriors India (PWI) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, he scored a century in just 30 balls, making him the fastest player to do so. RCB batted first and scored 263 runs, the highest ever in the league.

Gayle played an incredible innings, scoring 175 runs off 66 balls, breaking the record for the most runs in a single innings. His performance made PWI lose confidence, and they only managed to score 133 runs. Gayle was named the Player of the Match for his outstanding performance.
