Last season, they improved, reaching the playoffs for the first time with 10 wins and 66 points. They beat UP Yoddhas in the second eliminator but lost to Puneri Paltan in the semi-finals.

5. M Abishek
M Abishek, a young right-cover defender, has spent three seasons with the Tamil Thalaivas. Last season, he delivered a solid performance, earning 40 tackle points in 23 matches.
Abishek has shown consistent improvement each season, and the Thalaivas are hoping for more of the same this year. He is expected to be part of the starting lineup and will be eager to make a significant impact in Pro Kabaddi League Season 10.

4. Ajinkya Pawar
Ajinkya Pawar is another key player for the Thalaivas this season. He was one of their standout performers last season, securing 130 raid points, including 3 Super Raids and 3 Super 10s.
With 71 PKL matches under his belt and a total of 330 raid points, Ajinkya brings valuable experience. He has consistently scored over 100 raid points, including in Season 8, and is expected to be a reliable contributor this season.
Ajinkya, alongside Narender, will play a crucial role in the Thalaivas’ raiding department.
3. Sagar
Sagar began his Pro Kabaddi League journey in the seventh season and has remained with the Thalaivas ever since. He is among the young players retained for Season 10. Last season, Sagar played 17 matches before an injury cut his season short.
Despite the setback, Sagar was the Thalaivas’ second-best defender with 53 tackle points, including 8 Super Tackles and 5 High 5s, averaging 3.12 tackle points per match.
Sagar’s standout performance came in Season 8 when he accumulated 82 tackle points. The Thalaivas will be counting on him to replicate that success this season.

2. Sahil Gulia
Left-corner defender Sahil Gulia was Tamil Thalaivas’ top defender last season, ranking eighth overall in the league with 57 tackle points in 23 games.
With a successful tackle rate of 44%, Sahil also recorded 4 Super Tackles and 2 High 5s. Over 41 Pro Kabaddi League matches, he has accumulated 87 tackle points, with Season 9 being his best yet.
Sahil is set to play a pivotal role in the Thalaivas’ defense in Season 10.
1. Narender
Narender had a remarkable Season 9 for the Tamil Thalaivas, emerging as the fourth-best raider in the league with 243 raid points from 23 matches. The young raider achieved 4 Super Raids, 15 Super 10s, and maintained an average of 10.57 raid points per match.
As Tamil Thalaivas chase glory this season, they will be counting on another stellar performance from Narender.
