4. Lasith Malinga- Sri Lanka
Lasith Malinga, a fast bowler from Sri Lanka, became the first bowler ever to take 100 wickets in T20 international cricket. He achieved this milestone during a match against New Zealand at Pallekele in September 2019. By the end of his career, Malinga had taken a total of 107 wickets in 84 T20I matches.
3. Mark Adair- Ireland
Mark Adair, a fast bowler from Ireland, has been performing well for his country over the last four years. He started playing for Ireland in 2019 and recently reached the milestone of 100 wickets in T20I cricket. Adair achieved this feat in his 72nd match against Zimbabwe in Harare in December 2023.

On February 19, 2024, Wanindu Hasaranga, a cricket player from Sri Lanka who both bats and bowls, achieved a milestone. He became the 11th bowler ever to take 100 wickets in T20I cricket. He reached this mark by dismissing Najibullah Zadran from Afghanistan during a series of three T20I matches between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan. Hasaranga accomplished this feat in 63 matches, making him the fastest Sri Lankan bowler to reach 100 wickets in T20I cricket and the second fastest overall in this type of cricket game.
1. Rashid Khan- Afghanistan
Afghanistan’s leg-spinner Rashid Khan became the fastest bowler to reach 100 wickets in T20 international cricket. He achieved this milestone in just 53 matches. He reached 100 wickets when playing against Pakistan in Dubai in October 2021. Rashid Khan, who is 25 years old, has played 82 matches for Afghanistan and has taken a total of 130 wickets in T20 internationals.
