But one of his biggest achievements is winning more T20I matches than anyone else in history. He’s been on the winning team a whopping 100 times out of 149 matches!
Sharma started playing T20I cricket in 2007, at the T20 World Cup in Durban, against England. In his very first T20I matches, he played amazingly well, including scoring 30 runs in just 16 balls in the final against Pakistan. This helped India win the World Cup, which was a huge deal.

3. Virat Kohli – 73 wins
Virat Kohli is really good at winning cricket matches. He has won 73 out of 115 matches he has played in T20 International cricket. Sometimes, he plays so well that he helps his team win all by himself. One time, he scored 82 not out against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup in 2022, which was amazing.

5. Mohammad Nabi – 70 wins
Afghanistan’s cricket star Mohammad Nabi helped his team win 70 matches out of 112 games over his fifteen-year career. He scored 1,877 runs and took 88 wickets. Nabi led Afghanistan to 16 victories in 35 matches from 2013 to 2022, making him the second most successful captain after Asghar Afghan. He played a big role in Afghanistan’s success in one-day cricket.
