4. Mohammad Azharuddin – 332 Runs (World Cup 1992)

The Indian team didn’t do well in the 1992 World Cup. They won only two out of eight games. Their captain, Mohammad Azharuddin, played really well though. He scored 332 runs in just eight games, with his highest score being 93 against Australia. He’s ranked fourth among Indian captains who scored the most runs in a single World Cup.
