5. Sunil Narine

Piyush Chawla is the third-best spinner in IPL history. He took 157 wickets in 165 matches. He played in the IPL until 2021. In 2023, he joined Mumbai Indians for 50 lakh. Before that, he played for Chennai Super Kings, Kings XI Punjab, and Kolkata Knight Riders.

The second-best bowler in IPL history is Amit Mishra. He took 166 wickets in 154 matches while playing for Deccan Chargers, Delhi Daredevils/Capitals, and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Mishra played in the IPL last in 2021. Now, he’s chosen by Lucknow Super Giants for the 2023 tournament. He might get more wickets in this tournament, but he might not play a big role in the team’s second season.

Yuzvendra Chahal is the best spinner in IPL history. He has taken 166 wickets in 131 matches for Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Rajasthan Royals. Right now, he’s tied with the second-best player on the list, but he’s actually on top because he has played fewer matches.
