1. India vs Afghanistan-T20 series 2024
In a thrilling third Twenty20 International match between India and Afghanistan, India chased down a target of 212 runs in 20 overs. This led to a Super Over, and the game eventually ended in a tie.
Rinku Singh and Rohit Sharma helped India recover from a poor start of 22 for 4 to reach 212 for 4, setting a record for their biggest partnership in T20I history. Rohit Sharma’s work wasn’t done; he had to play in the Super Over too. Although he was injured in the first Super Over, he came back for the second one and led India to victory.
India and Pakistan faced each other again in the final after a tie and a bowl-out in their earlier match. It was another thrilling game. India scored 157, thanks to a fast start from 20-year-old Rohit Sharma and 75 runs from Gautam Gambhir.
Pakistan stayed in the game because of Misbah-ul-Haq, even though India’s fast bowlers kept taking wickets. 3. England v Netherlands-2009
In the first match of the T20 World Cup 2009, Netherlands surprised everyone by beating England. England started well but only scored 162 runs. Even though Netherlands didn’t start their chase well, Tom de Grooth and Peter Borren helped their team catch up with a quick partnership. In the final over, Stuart Broad had to defend six runs, but Netherlands managed to win.

Virat Kohli then delivered one of his best T20I performances, scoring 82 not out from 51 balls. Despite the Mohali heat, he ran seven twos, which were crucial to keeping India in the game. With 43 runs needed, boundaries became essential. After MS Dhoni outplayed Shane Watson, Kohli hit James Faulkner for two fours, a six, and a two, shifting the match in India’s favor.
