Rohit Sharma did really well in the third T20I against Afghanistan. He scored his fifth century in this type of cricket. In the first two matches, he didn’t score any runs. India wasn’t doing great in the beginning of the third match. But Rohit and Rinku Singh played really well together and turned things around. They took India from a bad position to a good one, scoring lots of runs.
Afghanistan also played well and matched India’s score. The game was so close that they had to play two extra rounds called super overs to decide the winner. Rohit did amazingly well in those too, hitting lots of sixes and fours.
Overall, Indian players have scored 17 centuries in T20I cricket. Rohit has scored five of them, and Suryakumar Yadav has scored four.

5. Rohit Sharma – 56 balls
Rohit Sharma scored his first T20 century outside India against England in Bristol in 2018. England scored 198 runs, with Jos Buttler and Jason Roy making a fast start. But Rohit had different plans.
He scored 100 runs off 56 balls without getting out. His amazing performance helped India win with seven wickets left and eight balls to spare. It’s tough to chase over 200 runs in T20 cricket, especially in England against England.
4. Rohit Sharma – 58 balls
In November 2018, Rohit Sharma hit a great score of 100 runs in a cricket match against the West Indies in Lucknow. He was the first player to do this four times in T20 international matches. He also briefly had more runs than Virat Kohli in this type of cricket.
The pitch in Lucknow was difficult, but Rohit made it look easy. He scored 111 runs without getting out, from just 61 balls. His partner, Shikhar Dhawan, scored 43 runs from 41 balls. The West Indies team only managed to score 124 runs in their 20 overs, showing how hard it was to score on that pitch.

3. Suresh Raina – 59 balls
People still talk about Suresh Raina’s only T20I century because it was the first time an Indian player scored 100 runs in this fast cricket format. It happened during a match against South Africa in the T20 World Cup in 2010. Raina made 101 runs in 60 balls.
At the beginning, Raina didn’t score many runs, only 19 in his first 22 balls. But then he got into a good rhythm and helped India reach a total score of 186/5. Even though South Africa’s Jacques Kallis scored 73 runs, they couldn’t catch up, falling short by 14 runs.
2. Rohit sharma – 62balls
Rohit Sharma got his first ever century in T20 International cricket, but it was one of his slowest. It happened in 2015 when India played against South Africa in Dharamsala. Rohit took 62 balls to reach his century and scored 106 runs in total from 66 deliveries. However, India lost the match even though they managed to score 199/5.
Hashim Amla and AB de Villiers also played well for South Africa, but it was Jean-Paul Duminy who made the biggest impact with an unbeaten 68 runs from 34 balls. Farhaan Behardien supported him well.

1. Rohit Sharma – 64 balls
Rohit Sharma hit the slowest century for India in T20 cricket during a match against Afghanistan. It took him 64 balls to reach 100 runs. Earlier, he was slower, scoring only 28 runs from 34 balls. But then, he sped up and ended with 121 not out from 69 balls. Despite having four of the slowest T20I centuries for India, Rohit also holds the record for the fastest century, which he achieved in 35 balls against Sri Lanka in 2017.
