New Zealand played their first T20I match in 2005. They have scored 200 or more runs in a match 18 times. Out of these, they won 16 times and lost twice. Their highest T20I score is 254/5, made against Scotland in July 2022. The two losses, despite scoring over 200 runs, were against India (they scored 203 runs) and Australia (they scored 243 runs.

4. England – 18 times
England, who have won the T20 World Cup twice, have scored 200 or more runs in T20 international matches 18 times. When they score 200 or more, they have won 13 times and lost 5 times. Their highest score in a T20 match is 241/3, which they made against New Zealand in 2019. They have also successfully chased scores of 220 or more twice in T20 matches.
3. Australia – 19 times
Australia, the winners of the 2021 T20 World Cup, have scored over 200 runs in T20 International matches 19 times. They won 14 of those games, lost 4, and tied 1 match. Their highest score is 263/3, made against Sri Lanka in Pallekele in 2016. They also successfully chased a target of over 240 runs against New Zealand. The only game they tied after scoring 200 or more was also against New Zealand in 2010.

South Africa has scored 200 or more runs in T20 International cricket matches 22 times. Out of these, they have won 14 games and lost 8. Their highest score in T20 Internationals is 259/4, achieved against West Indies in March 2023, which is also the highest successful chase by any full-member team.

The Indian cricket team has scored 200 or more runs in T20 matches 31 times. They have won 25 of these matches and lost only 5. India’s highest score in T20 is 260/5, which they achieved against Sri Lanka in 2017. Their highest successful run chase is 209 runs. They almost chased down 246 runs in a match against the West Indies in 2016, but lost by just one run.
