International tournaments often give players the chance to become national heroes, though sometimes they can also disappoint. For young players, performing well while representing their country is something they all dream of.

1. Alejandro Garnacho
Alejandro Garnacho may not be starting for the defending champions, Argentina, but he is definitely one of the most exciting young players to keep an eye on.
The 19-year-old forward, who plays for Manchester United, had a challenging season with his club. Despite this, he showed moments of brilliance. He played 50 times for United in all competitions, scoring 10 goals and providing 5 assists.
He ended the season on a positive note by scoring in United’s 2-1 victory over Manchester City in the FA Cup final. With his confidence high, Garnacho is eager to represent Argentina in the Copa America.

2. Endrick
Brazilian star Endrick, just 17 years old, will join Real Madrid next season and is already seen as a future football superstar.
Last season, he scored four goals and made two assists in 21 games for Palmeiras.
While many players struggle with the pressure of Brazil’s famous yellow jersey, Endrick has adapted well to international football. He scored his first goal for Brazil in a friendly against England at Wembley Stadium on March 23, 2024, becoming the youngest player to score there for both club and country. He also scored his second international goal in a 3-3 draw against Spain.
In the Copa America, Endrick will be eager to keep up his impressive form and is expected to be one of the most exciting young players to watch.
3. Dario Osorio
Dario Osorio, a 20-year-old midfielder from Chile, has not received much attention so far. This is partly because he plays for Midtjylland, a Danish team. Despite this, he scored nine goals for his team this season.
Osorio is six feet tall and is known for his speed and strong finishing skills. He is expected to be a regular starter for the Chilean national team. Fans are excited to see how he will work with Alexis Sanchez on the field.

Endrick is a big name among young talents in Copa America, but not many people know about his national teammate Savio.
Savio has been a key player in helping Girona reach the Champions League for the first time ever. He made his Brazil debut in the same game as Endrick. His strong performances at Girona earned him a spot in Brazil’s Copa America team.
This season, Savio played 41 games for Girona, scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists. Keep an eye on this 20-year-old player.
5. Ricardo Pepi
The United States might not be the top pick to win the tournament, but they should not be underestimated. As the host nation, the USA will have strong support from their home crowd, and they have 21-year-old Ricardo Pepi on their team.
Pepi has scored 10 goals in 23 games for the USA. After winning the Eredivisie with PSV Eindhoven, he will be eager to perform well in national colors.
