Virender Sehwag Upset with MI’s Hardik Pandya and Tim David, Calls for Serious Action

In a recent IPL match, Mumbai Indians lost to Kolkata Knight Riders by 24 runs. Mumbai needed to score 170 runs but could only manage 145 before getting all out. Virender Sehwag, a former Indian cricketer, had some doubts about Mumbai’s game plan.

Sehwag felt shocked when he saw Mumbai’s key players, Hardik Pandya and Tim David, coming to bat at number 7 and 8. He wondered why they weren’t sent in earlier, especially when there were still plenty of overs left. Sehwag also asked why Kolkata’s star player, Andre Russell, was placed so low in the batting order, as he only faced two balls.

Sehwag criticized Mumbai’s management for not using Hardik Pandya well. He noted that Pandya used to bat higher up the order when he played for Gujarat Titans. Sehwag suggested that Mumbai’s team owners should take some action against both players and management for their poor decisions.

After the match, Hardik Pandya admitted that Mumbai didn’t build good partnerships during their batting innings, which caused their defeat. He recognized that forming partnerships is crucial in T20 cricket, but Mumbai couldn’t do that well in this match. Pandya didn’t have much to add about the team’s performance right now.

In short, Sehwag questioned Mumbai’s decision to send important players late in the batting order and suggested that the management should do something about it. Hardik Pandya admitted that Mumbai’s failure to make partnerships cost them the match, but he didn’t have much else to say about the team’s performance.
