While Suryakumar was hitting the ball really well over the leg side, he also showed how clever he is. In his game against New Zealand in Mount Maunganui, he scored a century by using Lockie Ferguson’s fast bowling to get runs easily.

In a preview of his future greatness, he moved around in the batting crease, lifted his front foot, and hit a short ball outside off stump for six runs over the boundary.
He played really well, scoring 57 runs off just 31 balls. Because of his great performance, he was named the Player of the Match as India won against England by eight runs. This was a big moment for Suryakumar, showing that he was ready for the big stage.

In the last game of the T20 World Cup in 2022, India played against Zimbabwe. At first, India played well, but then they struggled. When Suryakumar Yadav came to bat, he looked very confident at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
