Shan Masood Faces Criticism After Costly Fielding Mistake

Pakistan captain Shan Masood found himself under fire after a significant fielding mistake during the third day of the second Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The incident took place just a day after Saud Shakeel dropped a simple catch in the same match.

The Fielding Error

During the 75th over of Bangladesh’s first innings, just before they were bowled out for 262 runs, Hasan Mahmud played a shot off Khurram Shahzad’s delivery that went straight towards Masood at cover. Despite the ball keeping low, Masood got both hands to it but failed to hold on, leaving his teammates visibly upset.
