Virat Kohli has been the top tax paying cricketers for the financial year ending March 31, 2024. According to Fortune India, Kohli paid an impressive Rs 66 crore in taxes. This substantial contribution places him fifth overall among all Indian celebrities for tax payments.

Former captain MS Dhoni ranks second among cricketers with Rs 38 crore in taxes. Even though Dhoni is now mostly seen in the IPL and through endorsements, he continues to be a significant tax contributor.

Sachin Tendulkar, a cricket legend retired from playing, still remains influential. He paid Rs 28 crore in taxes, making him the third-highest taxpayer among cricketers. His ongoing endorsements and investments keep his earnings high.

• Salman Khan: Contributed Rs 75 crore, despite a quieter year.
